目的

屋宇署藉著舉辦「構建人生」攝影比賽，讓大家透過鏡頭，重新感受「人」與「樓宇」之間的密切關係；通過快門，捕捉建築物與人之間千絲萬縷的牽絆。藉著一張張動人相片，傳播正面樓宇安全訊息，從而提升公眾對居住環境的關注和責任感。

Objective

By organising the “Our People Our Homes” Photo Competition, the Buildings Department (BD) hopes that through lenses, we can again observe the close relationship between “people” and “buildings” and through shutters, we can capture many life stories of people in buildings. With these magical photos, the importance of building safety will be conveyed, thus enhancing the public awareness of and the responsibility building owners towards a safe living environment.

Shooting Location and Theme

The photos must be taken within the HKSAR. The theme should focus on the coherent relationship among people, activities, homes, scenes and private buildings and should highlight the relationship between “people” and “buildings” as well as the positive message of building safety.

為了讓有興趣參加比賽的讀者認識更多拍攝技巧及竅門，以攝影方式帶出樓宇和人之間的關係，今集特地請到兩位攝影高手，親授參加「構建人生」攝影比賽的攝影技巧。

「參加組相形式的攝影比賽，攝影時最重要先構思故事性。」

題：拍攝時必須言之有物
「構建人生」攝影比賽以「組相」方式進行評審，特別講求故事性，必須言之有物。參賽者要先想清楚故事，然後周詳地計劃拍攝工作，再進行拍攝，才能貼切主題及符合要求。至於元素就沒有特別限制，參賽者可以多著重故事內容，拍攝時亦毋需局限於同一屋苑。

題：社會民生皆可用組相作題材
組相的題材很闊，例如以印刷傳媒作為題材，從記者採訪、拍攝的情況，到化為文字之後，將資料送到印刷廠印刷等過程，都可以用組相的方式，將整個流程表達出來。以今次的比賽「構建人生」為例，由香港市民的生活習慣，到社會寫實等，均可以組相方式作為題材。

題：以光線和樓宇構成美麗構圖
想好故事之後，就是付諸實行，一輯出色的相片，每張相都要留意構圖角度光線。以光線為例，不同時間的光線均不同，拍出來的相片氣氛自然有差異。建議在構想故事後，再去找適合的場境。另外，今次的比賽是人與樓的關係，故事中的人，何時出現何地出現，均不能預計，只有選好拍攝場地後再耐心等待拍攝時機。

「活用組相手法，令相片說出當時的情事。」

題：善用鏡頭效果帶出主題
照片是無聲的說話，但由於時間及空間的限制，並不能如文字或錄像說出了前因後果，所以攝影師便創作了「組相」──以一系列照片，去說明事情的發展。在挑選過程中，亦可以去蕪存菁，將心中的故事顯示出來。今次此項攝影比賽的主題， 是用「組相」來說出「人」與「樓宇」之間的故事，由於是不相同的主題，但如果以兩種題材互相配合，而說出精釆的故事，相比透過單張照片，會比較得心應手。參加者可試用不同的角度，例如運用鏡頭效果以「點」帶出「面」的拉闊手法去描述人物和樓宇間的關係；或者又可用對比手法，如新與舊，老與少，大與小等等，點出人們生活在不同空間所產生的矛盾。

題：要以紀實印記方式說故事
攝影手法，各有心得，取景構圖，各有精妙。是次主題是樓宇，配上人物，有融和，有衝突，照片的質素便是比賽的先决條件，而紀實的印記，更是必須的。所以凡在拍攝後以拼貼加工的，評委一定不予接受，而賽例亦不容許。言之有物，在組圖中能給予觀賞者與攝影者相互共鳴最為重要。

Detail

參賽資格

  1. 凡本港居民均可參加這項比賽，年齡不限。主辦單位有權核對參賽者的身份。
    Subject to the employees of the organiser or co-organiser or their immediate family members are not allowed to enter into the competition, all Hong Kong residents at all ages are eligible to join the competition. The organiser shall have the right to verify the identity of any entrant.
  2. 每人參加次數不限，但只可以獲得一個獎項（以最高評分的為準）。
    Each entrant may submit more than one entry, but can be eligible for one prize only (The entry with the highest score will be adopted.)

作品內容要求

  1. 參賽者需遞交以內容相關的一組相片為參賽作品，每份作品須為二至八張相片。
    Each entrant must submit two to eight photos in a series with relevant contents.
  2. 參賽作品內的建築物必須為私人樓宇，並必須在香港特別行政區境內拍攝。
    The buildings in all photos should be mainly private buildings, and the photos must be taken in Hong Kong.

作品規格
Entry Format

參賽者可以使用任何牌子的數碼相機及菲林沖曬服務，如用數碼相機，相片像素需在800萬或以上。
Entrants are free to use any brand of digital camera and photo development service.  Digital cameras with a resolution of 8 megapixel or above should be used.

網上遞交
Online Submission

參賽者需遞交原始數碼檔案Raw （800萬像素或以上）及jpeg作預覽。如參賽者未能提交，則其參賽作品一概不受理。
Entrants shall hand in their original digital files in the RAW format (8 megapixel or above) and JPG format for preview purposes. Submissions not conforming to this requirement will not be accepted.

親身遞交或郵寄
Submission in Person or by Mail

  1. 黑白或彩色照片的呎吋為12R（8X12吋）。
    The photos must be in 12R size (i.e. 8x12 inches) and can be either black and white or coloured.
  2. 參賽者需遞交參賽照片的原有底片（正片或負片）或燒錄原始檔的光碟。如參賽者未能提交，則其參賽作品一概不受理。
    Entrants shall also submit the original films (positives or negatives) or original digital RAW files of their entries. Otherwise, their entries will not be accepted.
  3. 所有參賽照片均無須裝裱。
    Photos do not need to be framed.

參賽條款

  1. 所有遞交的作品必須為原創及未曾參與其他比賽，不得有抄襲行為。
  2. 參賽作品不得出現色情、暴力、侵犯他人隱私、以及所有違反香港特別行政區法律和相關規定的內容。所有參賽作品素材如涉及侵權行為由參加者負擔全責。
  3. 只容許在拍攝後合理調整光暗，色彩飽和度或作適度剪裁，任何電腦合成或過度處理作品概不接受參賽。若有發現，主辦單位有權取消其參賽資格。
  4. 主辦單位有權使用得獎作品及其底片，在任何媒體作展覽或宣傳用途，而毋須事前通知得獎者或向得獎者支付任何版權費用。
  5. 所有參賽作品恕不退還。
  6. 比賽組設冠、亞、季軍各一名、優異獎五名及入圍作品十名，比賽結果最終由評選團/主辦單位決定。
  7. 參賽者如違反比賽規則，可能會喪失名銜、獎品或獎狀。
  8. 主辦單位有權拒絕接受或取消任何參賽作品的資格，而毋須給予解釋。如有爭議，賽果以評選團/主辦機構的最後決定為準。
  9. 主辦單位有權更改比賽規則而無需給予事先通知。
  10. 所有參賽之作品，均可能會被主辦機構以任何方式作宣傳用途，其擁有權均屬主辦單位擁有。
  11. 凡參加此次攝影比賽者，即自動同意章程內各項條款，不得異議。上列條款及有關之所有內容及文字之最終解釋權歸主辨機構所有，如遇有任何爭議均以主辨單位最後決定為準。

Rules and Conditions

  1. All entries must be original works that have not entered into any other photography competitions. Plagiarism is not tolerated.
  2. Entries shall not contain violence and pornography content, nor violate other people’s privacy and the HKSAR laws and other related regulations. Entrants shall bear full responsibility for entries that violate copyright.
  3. Only reasonable adjustment of brightness and colour saturation or necessary cropping after the shooting is allowed. Any computer-generated or over-edited work will not be accepted. In case of such unacceptable works, the organiser has the right to disqualify the entrant concerned.
  4. The organiser has the right to use the winning entries and their films for exhibition and promotion purpose in any media.  The organiser will neither give the winners prior notices nor pay them royalties.
  5. Entries will not be returned to the entrants.
  6. In the open category, there will be 1 champion, 1 first-runner up, 1 second runner-up, 5 merit awards and 10 entrance awards. The judge panel/organiser has the final right in the giving out of prizes.
  7. Entrants who violate any rules of the competition may lose all their titles, prizes or certificates.
  8. The organiser has the right to refuse or disqualify any entry without giving any reason. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the judge panel/organiser shall be final.
  9. The organiser has the right to change the rules without giving prior notices.
  10. All entries may be used by the organiser for promotion purpose by any means. Their ownership shall belong to the organiser.
  11. By entering into the competition, entrants agree to all the terms and conditions set out in the brochure. The organiser reserves the right in the final interpretation of the terms and conditions and the relevant contents and wordings. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organiser shall be final.

The Panel will be formed by the representatives from the Buildings Department, The HK Art of Photography Association, Grace Photographic Club and PCM.

比賽結果
Results

  • 將於本年10月初於本網頁公布。得獎者將會以電話或電郵作另行通知，並邀請出席頒獎禮。
    Results will be announced on this website in early Oct. 2014. Winners will be notified by phone or email individually and will be invited to attend the prize presentation ceremony.
  • 得獎作品將作展覽，以供市民欣賞。
    The winning works will be exhibited to the public.

    Download and complete the application form and submit it, in person or by mail, with the photographs, the original films (positives or negatives) or the original file in the compact disc format to “Receipt & Dispatch Counter, Buildings Department, 12/F, Pioneer Centre, 750 Nathan Road, Kowloon” during office hours (08:30-17:30). The envelope should be marked with “Our Peoples Our Homes Photo Competition”.
